Lumi Hardcore is a public hardcore survival SMP built around one simple rule: you get one life. If you die, you’re done and will remain in spectator mode until the next world reset. The world keeps moving forward, so every decision, cave dive, and fight has real weight.
We run intentional 60-day seasons with fresh resets and a new seed each time to keep starts fair and give everyone a new chance to build a lasting story. The server is online-mode only, with no cracked clients.
Gameplay stays mostly vanilla with no required mods, and we use a small set of lightweight QoL and building-focused additions to make survival smoother and bases more expressive without breaking balance. That includes graves to store your items where you fell, global death messages with a lightning strike on death, a day display, VeinMiner and a separate tree vein miner for faster gathering, plus extra decorative blocks, furniture, and building tools. A core pack enforces the one-life spectator logic.
We also support optional proximity voice chat (Simple Voice Chat) for anyone who wants a more immersive experience, but it is never required to play.
There are no pay-to-win systems and no gimmicks. This is for players who want slower, thoughtful survival where exploration is tense and builds feel meaningful. We aim for a calm, respectful, mature community where you can invite friends, team up, or play solo. Java and Bedrock players can play together.
