Welcome to Minemist, an Oceania Towny geopolitics server hosted in Sydney, Australia.
Minemist is built around nations, territory, and war, with a bordered world and a live map that shows everyone in the overworld. Politics is public, towns can be founded, and conflict has real stakes.
Progression is intentionally slower and endgame is earned. Getting good gear takes time, and it should feel meaningful when someone shows up to battle fully geared.
Enchantments are political. You choose a culture: Power, Freedom, or Balance. Each culture controls different vanilla enchantments through enchantment tablets, so nobody can have everything alone. Trade, negotiate, or take risks to get what you need.
Mending is treated as endgame. Villagers won’t trade it, so you’ll need to work with others, raid, or earn it through endgame crafting and loot.
War is for geopolitics, not wiping builds. Only nations can go to war with towns. Victories can mean occupation or stolen money. Raiding items and breaking crops are allowed, but destructive griefing isn’t, and staff can rollback major grief.
Alongside Towny and war, you’ll find jobs, progression ranks, custom enchantments and tweaks, MCMMO, chest locks, an auction house, player warps, player vaults, events, and server lore where an entity called Misty watches over the world.
If you want a server where building, diplomacy, and conquest all matter, Minemist is built for that.
