At OreWars, the best ore is far from home, and getting it back is the challenge. Our Java survival world is built around three rings: the safe ring gives you a place to claim land and build, but only offers coal and copper. Head into the risk ring for iron, gold, redstone, and lapis. Once you carry ore or start a fight, other players can attack you, and death means dropping what you carry. Diamonds and emeralds wait in the lawless ring, where PvP is always on and death drops everything.

We keep the journey meaningful: there are no teleports or ender chests, so your haul has to make it home on foot. Claim a base with a Base Core and keep it supplied with ore to seal it against block breaking, chest access, and interference with your animals. Base upkeep starts free, then depends on your land and location. Ore veins return over time, giving you a reason to venture out again rather than letting the world be mined bare.

Our dangerous rings also hold eight capturable ruins that provide ongoing income to whoever controls them. World bosses can appear without warning and may drop weapons unavailable anywhere else. Whether you prefer building a protected home, mining for a valuable haul, ambushing other players, or contesting ruins, OreWars makes every trip out a choice about what you’re willing to risk. No client mods are needed, and purchases on the server don’t give players combat advantages.
