SMPEarth began as a private, whitelisted Survival Multiplayer server built around a custom-generated 1:3000 scale map of the Earth. It originally launched in November 2019 for a group of popular Minecraft creators and streamers, and the server’s early history was shaped by player-driven factions, alliances, and rivalries.
After the original creators era ended in April 2020, SMPEarth continued on as a public server. Today, anyone can join and play together with cross-play support for both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
We run three main servers with different ways to experience the Earth map, including casual towny, siege towny, and utopia.
Our goal is simple: keep building SMPEarth into a truly advanced Earth server experience in Minecraft, with a welcoming community and room for every playstyle within our Survival world.

Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: play.smpearth.com
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
