SoMC: Social Minecraft
Welcome to Social Minecraft, a laid-back server built around making friends and enjoying Minecraft together. We’re a small, active group (around 10 regular players) and we’re always happy to meet more people who want a social, community-first place to play.
We host weekly gatherings every Wednesday night around 7PM EST. We hop in Discord and spend the evening playing, collaborating, and going on Minecraft adventures together. Outside of that, the server is open anytime, so you can play and chat whenever it fits your schedule.
We keep things friendly and respectful, and we generally go by first names (nicknames are totally fine too). If you’re looking for a welcoming SMP and Skyblock community where everyone can feel comfortable joining in, you’ll fit right in.
To get started, join our Discord, set your profile name, and use the whitelist command so you can hop in.

How to join
Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: play.somc.club
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
