SoftSlayer Economy

SoftSlayer is a long-running, community-focused semi-vanilla survival server, established in June 2011. We keep our main world permanent, with no map resets. The current map has been live since June 2023. Overworld keepInventory makes everyday survival less punishing, while our whitelist and tracking tools help protect player builds without land claims.

Our diamond-based economy keeps trading grounded, and players run their own shops at the SoftSlayer Market. Explore the resource world for terrain and features from the latest Minecraft update, then bring materials back to your builds and projects.

Looking for a greater challenge? Death Valley is our endgame, high-risk arena, where stronger mobs and periodically respawning loot chests reward careful, competitive play. We also host themed build contests in a dedicated creative world, with rewards for standout builds.

SoftSlayer is shaped by its players: our library holds books written by community members since 2012, and we welcome aspiring writers to add their own. If you enjoy lasting builds, player-run trading, community creativity, and survival with optional high-stakes combat, come make your mark with us.
