Straight Up is a vanilla survival server built around a long-term world that lasts. The overworld has never been wiped since opening on April 1st, 2019, preserving more than seven years of player history and exploration.

Gameplay stays close to base Minecraft, with no land claims and no teleport shortcuts such as /tpa or /home. There are no factions, currency, or economy plugins changing the feel of survival.

PvP and griefing are permitted, allowing players to shape the world themselves. Optional proximity voice chat is supported through the client-side Simple Voice Chat mod, while an unintrusive anticheat approach helps keep gameplay fair without disrupting normal play.

How to join

Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.

  1. Open Minecraft.
  2. Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
  3. Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
  4. Paste this server address into the address field: play.straightupminecraft.com
  5. Save or confirm, then join the server.
