Build Claims Minecraft Servers

Minecraft servers with Build Claims let players protect homes, bases, shops, and other structures by marking an area as their own. Other players are typically blocked from breaking blocks, opening containers, or interacting with protected builds unless the owner grants access. The exact claiming method varies, with servers using commands, claim tools, chunk selections, or in-game menus.

Claims are especially useful on survival, SMP, towny-style, and economy servers where players gather resources and build over long periods. Many servers provide trust or permission settings so friends can build, use chests, or manage parts of a claim together. Some also limit claim size, require claim blocks or money, or add rules for abandoned land, so check the server’s instructions before settling.

Build Claims protect player-made areas, but they do not necessarily prevent every type of damage. PvP, explosions, mob behavior, redstone interaction, and access to public areas depend on the server’s configuration. Players should look for clear rules on claim expiration, subdivision, teleportation, and disputes when choosing a server with this feature.
