Browse Minecraft servers related to Extra Hearts.
Extra Hearts Minecraft servers give players more than the default ten hearts of health, usually through a progression system, rewards, commands, or a custom gameplay mechanic. The additional health may be permanent, temporary, earned through achievements, or tied to items and upgrades. Server rules vary, so the listing or in-game documentation should explain how hearts are gained, lost, restored, and capped.
This feature can significantly affect survival and PvP. Players with more maximum health may have an advantage in fights, raids, or dangerous PvE encounters, while some servers balance the mechanic with harder progression, limited upgrades, or ways to steal and lose hearts. Extra Hearts may appear in Survival, Lifesteal, Factions, Skyblock, or other modes rather than defining one complete server format by itself.
Before joining an Extra Hearts server, check whether Java Edition, Bedrock Edition, or cross-play is supported, how progression works, and whether the extra health applies in every world or only during specific events. It is also worth checking whether hearts persist after death, can be traded or transferred, and whether combat between players is optional or central to the server.
Extra Hearts are additional maximum health beyond Minecraft’s normal ten-heart baseline. A server may award them through progression, items, achievements, commands, or a custom plugin.
Not always. Some servers make them permanent upgrades, while others make them temporary, removable, or vulnerable to death and player combat. Check the individual server rules.
They can provide a substantial PvP advantage because a player can survive more damage. Servers may balance this with limited heart upgrades, heart loss, or other combat rules.
The mechanic is commonly found in Lifesteal, Survival, Factions, and custom progression servers, but it can be added to many different game modes.
