No bigotry

No bigotry servers run on a simple baseline: compete, joke, argue, and talk trash within reason, but do not target people for who they are. Racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, slurs, dogwhistles, and identity based harassment are not treated as normal banter. The feel is closer to a good long running group than a public lobby where the loudest voice sets the tone.

You notice it most in chat and social spaces. Global stays usable, Discord stays readable, and new players are not met with edgy tests. PvP rivalries, economy drama, faction politics, raids, and general Minecraft chaos still happen, but the conflict is about the game, not about making other players feel unwelcome as people.

The best run servers make the line easy to understand and enforce. Staff step in early when a pattern starts, keep evidence, and shut it down before it becomes culture. Consequences are usually consistent and intentionally boring: mutes for crossing the line, temp bans for repeats, and quick removals for slur spam or coordinated harassment. A good sign is regulars backing it up without dogpiling: report, move on, keep playing.

Over time, gameplay tends to feel steadier. Groups recruit in public, trading hubs stay active, and events do not collapse the moment they get popular. You can still get betrayal, scams, and hard feelings if the rules allow it, but your night is less likely to be derailed by someone trying to turn chat into a hate pit.
