no elytra

No elytra servers remove or disable Elytra flight. Some do it by limiting End access, others by removing Elytra drops, disabling gliding, or nerfing fireworks. Either way, movement stays grounded and distance starts to matter again.

The core loop shifts toward routes and logistics. Long trips take planning, hauling is a real choice, and remote builds feel like commitments instead of weekend errands. Players settle into regions, trade locally, and rely on shared infrastructure instead of commuting across the map on demand.

Fights resolve on the terrain. Without a vertical escape, ambushes, choke points, walls, and traps carry more weight, and chasing someone down is actually possible. Bases also gain security from location and fortification, not just from being hard to notice from the sky.

Exploration becomes slower but more meaningful. You discover biomes, structures, and neighbors by traveling through the world, not over it. Over time, servers tend to grow Nether hubs, ice boat roads, portal networks, and safe tunnels that make the map feel connected and earned.
