VanOS SMP
Minecraft Server Information
VanOS is our Java Edition community server for players who want familiar Minecraft with useful extras kept on the side. We run an untouched Mojang server jar, no Paper, plugins, or mods, with quality-of-life features powered by datapacks and our custom server wrapper. Join without a whitelist and choose between our survival world, private-island progression, and build-planning plots.
In our SMP, settle into Hard-difficulty survival with Keep Inventory. Build alongside other players in a welcoming shared world: griefing, stealing, and raiding aren’t allowed, and PvP is only welcome when everyone involved agrees. Use plots to try out a build before bringing the finished idea into survival.
Prefer a fresh start on your own? Every player gets a private Skyblock island, with optional co-op for friends. Follow the Island Path through tiered goals, from Castaway toward ranching, fishing, and the Nether, earn emeralds from daily goals, and unlock a merchant as you progress. We’re building VanOS around its community, and player ideas help shape the features we add.
