AussieSMP is a Sydney-hosted Australian survival server under the AusGG umbrella, built for a small, friendly community and designed for long-term play. We’re one of the more established Australian servers, recently reaching the 5-year mark.
We run a whitelisted, application-based setup to help keep the culture healthy and to make sure players can feel confident their builds will be respected. Applications stay open, so you can apply anytime.
Gameplay stays mostly vanilla, with a few quality-of-life additions. You’ll find teleports and warps, a dedicated shopping world where diamonds are used as the main currency, a resource world, and tools designed to help reduce griefing and protect builds.
Outside the server, we keep the community connected with Discord, online maps, and weekend livestreams.
If you’re in Australia or New Zealand, you can expect low latency thanks to our Sydney location. Players from anywhere are welcome too, with the main difference being ping and timezone activity.

How to join
Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: mc.aus.gg
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
