Banana Sandwich SMP is an 18+ vanilla+ Minecraft server for players who want a mature, relaxed community where collaboration and shared experiences come first.
From the beginning, we built the server around Proximity Voice Chat, and it’s required. Running into someone while exploring, talking in the moment, teaming up for a project, or just hanging out feels natural and removes the friction of text-only play.
We aim for a Hermitcraft-style vibe where people actually build together and get to know each other. We run frequent events, including launch starter events, a dragon event when the End opens, and rotating mini-games on a separate events server like Murder Mystery and Zombie Survival.
Seasonal pacing matters here. The End stays closed for the first month, the shopping district opens about a month in once there’s real trade, and we run a diamond economy from day one. Elytra comes from dragon drops, with fair access kicking in one week after the End opens.
We keep the world focused early on with a border that expands with community milestones. We also use BlueMap so you can view builds online, alongside a few vanilla+ quality-of-life touches like invisible item frames, posable armor stands, and sit and ride commands.
There is zero pay to win. Donator perks are cosmetic only. If you want an adult-only space with straightforward communication and a community that actually feels like a home, you’ll fit in well here.
