BetterPvP is a fully custom coded PvP server built to bring an MMO-style experience into competitive Minecraft. If you’re tired of the usual combat loop and predictable progression, our goal is to give you deeper builds, meaningful gearing choices, and large-scale content to fight over.
Choose from 6 classes with over 100 abilities and shape your playstyle through a customizable skill tree. Level up professions using an MMO-style progression tree UI, including a custom fishing system tied directly into profession leveling.
Progress through a complete dungeon system with server-wide world bosses and events, then push into endgame with a raid designed for players who have maxed out their gear. Gear progression includes attunements and reforging to improve item attributes, along with custom item models for rare through mythical tiers.
Play together through a faction-style system where you can build a base with friends, and jump into our separate minigame server to use your class kit in capture the flag and domination matches. We’ve been developing this project for years alongside an established closed beta community, and we’re excited to open it up for launch.

Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: betterpvp.net
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
