Blacklight SMP Factions

At Blacklight SMP, we’ve built a shared survival world where exploration, crafting, professions, and player communities all feed into one another. Found a faction, claim and protect territory, set faction homes, share a treasury, and choose whether to cooperate or go to war. Our custom systems add depth to survival without making the world’s progress feel disconnected from what players gather and do.

Choose from 21 professions and earn as you mine, farm, fish, hunt, build, and trade. You can run up to three professions at once, climb five mastery ranks, and unlock traits and active abilities. Our economy includes player markets, banks, companies, taxes, and prices that shift with trading, giving crafters and merchants ways to make their mark as well as adventurers.

Blacklight’s forging system makes equipment something you work for: build a multiblock forge, heat and hammer materials, then quench your gear. Improve it with gems, runes, repairs, and reforging. Ore remembers the biome it came from, so where you explore can shape what you make. Search for underground ruins and hidden groves, face rift events, and use an astrolabe to find nearby ruins.

There’s more to build than a base: grow and breed plants, design greenhouses, and work with seasons, soil, water, bees, and blight. You can also hire NPCs for practical roles, including guards and builders. Java and Bedrock players share the same world and economy, with dedicated Bedrock menus and controls. We welcome players without a whitelist, and our server is advertised as no pay-to-win.
