Gemocracy is a vanilla SMP built around player rule. Our goal is to give players as much freedom as possible, while still keeping the world playable and organized.
The server runs on a 1:1000 Earth map and supports land protection and player organization, so groups can build, expand, and cooperate without constant disruption.
A key part of our design is the gem-based power system. A finite set of gems grant specific abilities, and those powers can move between players and subgroups over time. Current gems include Life, Justice, Truth, and Fly.
We are currently in open beta and actively looking for players who want to test the concept and share feedback.

How to join
Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: mc.gemocracy.org
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
