NerdNu is a long-running public Minecraft community with a Survival PvE server and a Creative server. We focus on mostly vanilla gameplay and a welcoming, tight-knit place for players who want to settle in and belong.
On PvE, survival is non-PvP, so your main challenge is the world itself and the mobs. Players often collaborate on bigger projects like towns and cities. We also run community game nights on Fridays and Saturdays with player-hosted activities like Spleef, Thimble, ice boat races, and more.
Our PvE server is updated to 1.21.10, with the current map having reset on September 19th.
Our Creative server is open-world with a mix of naturally generated and world-painted terrain. Build protection is available, and WorldEdit is free to use. We host Creative events like Spleef, Speed Build, and other minigames on alternating Saturdays.
Creative is currently updated to 1.21.10, and started Revision 38 on June 22, 2024.
Our Snapshot server is open again for public plugin testing, with Bedrock support. There are no official revisions, and while grief, looting, and PvP are allowed, they are discouraged since the point is testing and trying new features together.

How to join
Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: p.nerd.nu
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
