Sam’s is a pure vanilla anarchy survival server with a long-running world and a small, established community. We welcome players who enjoy unstructured survival, setting their own goals, and living with the consequences.
Spawn is a vast ocean biome, so getting started can be tough and requires initiative. You’ll need to swim or boat out, and early scavenging matters. Some players search the ocean floor for cracks that lead down into very old mineshafts to grab planks and cobwebs for an early bed.
Gameplay stays 100% vanilla at all times, with no plugins or mods that change mechanics. The conveniences we offer come through a custom in-game chat bot we’ve built over the years, including a homes feature with one home per player. Other bot commands are just for fun.
The world dates back to 2011 and has never been reset. Exploration is a big part of the appeal: ancient terrain, extensive ruins, and history are everywhere, with newer terrain further out. The map is very large and continues to grow.
