Straight Up is a vanilla survival server built around one simple promise: a long-term world that lasts.
The overworld has never been wiped since we opened on April 1st, 2019, and we intend to keep it that way. With over six years of player history, there is always something to discover.
We keep gameplay close to the base game with no land claims and no teleport shortcuts like /tpa or /home. There are no factions, currency, or economy plugins that change the feel of survival.
PvP and griefing are permitted, and the world is shaped by the players who live in it.
We also support proximity voice chat through the Simple Voice Chat mod (optional, requires a client-side mod).
Behind the scenes we focus on stable performance and an unintrusive anticheat approach that aims to keep things fair without getting in the way of normal play.

How to join
Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.
- Paste this server address into the address field: play.straightupminecraft.com
- Save or confirm, then join the server.
