claims plugin

A claims plugin server is Survival where land ownership is enforced by permissions, not trust. You claim chunks (or claim blocks) around your base, and inside that area other players cannot break blocks or interact with things like chests, doors, levers, and animals unless you allow it. The vibe is calmer and more build-forward because security comes from settings, not from watching your back every time you log off.

The loop is straightforward: secure a starter claim, keep playing, and expand as your base grows. Early on it is about protecting the essentials so a passerby cannot walk off with your furnace setup or first diamond haul. Later it turns into planning. People lay roads, set up shops, make public farms, and carve districts with different access for friends, neighbors, and anyone.

Because you cannot simply take what you want, most drama shifts to borders and access. Good servers develop an etiquette around asking before building close, leaving buffer space, and using shared claims for community projects. When someone gets burned, it is usually from a misconfigured permission, a storage room built one block outside the line, or trusting the wrong person.

Claims also redefine PvP expectations. Many servers keep PvP in arenas or the wilderness, because a protected base is not something you can meaningfully siege. If you want long-term progression and builds that actually survive month to month, this format supports it. If you are chasing high-stakes raiding, you will want a server that adds raid zones, temporary claim rules, or some other outlet for conflict.
