Factions

Factions is territory-driven survival where groups claim land, build bases meant to survive raids, and fight over control. You join or start a faction, gain the power to hold territory, and claim chunks so your core farms, storage, and infrastructure can run without random interference. Outside claims, the world stays open and risky, where scouting and ambushes are part of normal travel.

The loop is simple: build, stock, hunt, and defend. Claims let you scale safely, but they also put a pin on the map that other groups will investigate. Raiding is the pressure that keeps progress meaningful. If your walls are thin, your layout leaks information, or your members are careless with shared gear, someone will find the weakness and test it.

The defining moments happen around commitment. You scout enemy territory, look for a mistake, then decide whether to spend time and resources forcing entry, knowing defenders may log in and turn it into a fight. PvP tends to be potion-and-pearl focused, with traps, cobwebs, lava, and coordinated target calling deciding more than raw gear alone. Even with different rulesets, the feel stays the same: grudges, alliances, and constant choices between expanding, fortifying, or pushing a rival while they are vulnerable.

Strong factions win through organization, not solo highlights. Leadership sets priorities, roles keep the base running, and communication prevents losses from snowballing. It is competitive survival with a long memory, where your base represents weeks of work and your enemies create the stories.
