No hacking rules servers make one clear promise: you are competing with other players, not their client. Winning a fight, finding a base, or escaping a chase should come down to movement, timing, awareness, and decisions, not X-ray, kill aura, reach, or movement assists.
That changes the feel immediately. PvP is about spacing, sprint resets, strafes, shield and axe choices, pearls, and using terrain well. Progression feels real because ore and gear come from mining, trading, and risk, not someone vacuuming resources with X-ray. Raids and defenses also hold weight since you cannot simply locate every stash or force an entry with client-side tricks.
Most servers that run no hacking rules support it with anti-cheat, staff review, and clear punishments. The usual line is simple: no clients, mods, or scripts that automate play, improve combat beyond vanilla limits, or reveal information you should not have. Quality of life and performance mods are often fine, but anything that plays for you or lets you see through the game is not.
The biggest difference is trust. You still get outplayed, third-partied, and gear-gapped, but losses make sense. If you want competitive survival, factions-style raiding, kit PvP, or any economy where time and risk matter, no hacking rules is what keeps it from turning into a client arms race.
Anything that automates combat, extends vanilla combat limits, changes movement in impossible ways, or reveals hidden information. Typical examples include kill aura, triggerbot, reach, velocity, fly/speed, scaffold, auto-totem, X-ray, entity tracers, and minimaps that show caves or players through blocks.
Often yes, since they are visual or performance-focused. What gets blocked is anything that adds combat automation or extra information (like player radar, cave mode, or ESP). Many servers post an allowed-mod list, so check it before joining.
Commonly no for combat. Servers usually treat autoclickers and fighting macros as cheating because they create unnatural consistency or push CPS beyond what they consider legitimate. Simple keybind convenience is sometimes fine, but anything that clicks, aims, or fights for you typically is not.
Usually a mix of anti-cheat alerts, staff spectating, and player reports with clips or timestamps. Penalties range from warnings to temp bans to permanent bans, and some servers also remove items gained through cheating or roll back damage.
Use the server's report method and include a short description plus evidence if you can (clip, timestamps, coordinates). Avoid turning it into chat drama, and keep playing normally so staff can watch without the player switching behavior.
