PvP, if it exists, gets pushed elsewhere: Nether routes, the End, arenas, or specific unprotected regions. That creates a clean split. The Overworld is for steady progression and long-term projects; risk becomes opt-in or tied to high-value goals like netherite runs, fortress loot, End access, elytra, and shulker hunting.
With Overworld fights off the table, the threats shift from ambushes to logistics and rule enforcement. Players invest in roads, portal networks, supply lines, shops, and claims. If theft or griefing is allowed or poorly policed, that becomes the real conflict, not who swings first.
Social dynamics matter more than combat skill. Reputation, trade, and moderation decide most disputes. The payoff is stability: worlds tend to persist because bases are not routinely wiped for sport.
