og factions

OG factions is the throwback take on Factions: simple power, straightforward claims, and a culture centered on grinding, scouting, and raiding instead of stacked systems. Outside spawn, the map feels hostile. Getting from point A to point B matters because anyone can be watching, and a single death can turn a good run into a reset.

The loop is clean. Claim land, build to hide and hold value, then keep your faction strong enough to maintain it. Most of your time goes into the basics that decide everything: obsidian, potions, pearls, gapples, and the materials that keep a base raid-ready. Power actually matters, so picks and fights have weight, and losing streaks show up on the map.

Raiding is the main event. Whether it is classic cannoning or simpler TNT pressure, the win comes from prep and timing, not spectacle. You look for weak points, track patterns, hit when defenders are split or offline, and try to extract before reinforcements show. Defense is practical too: walls, buffers, traps, and layouts that punish greedy pushes.

The economy tends to be functional and player-driven. You turn farms, spawners, and raid loot into gear and base materials, then cycle it back into the next fight. Progress comes from efficient setups, reliable teammates, and consistent wins, not from daily menus or passive perk ladders.
