Blothera is a survival and progression overhaul built around strategy, infrastructure, and the world players shape together. We run on a suite of custom in-house plugins and keep progression grounded: no pay-to-win, no kits, no menus, no teleports, and no command-driven shortcuts. Every system is something you hold, place, or carry.

Survival is stricter than vanilla. There is no passive health regeneration, so healing takes preparation. Farming and animal breeding are limited by the environment, and armour affects movement speed so “best gear” comes with tradeoffs.

Death matters here. Our Hardcore-Lite system permanently removes one max heart each time you die. You can earn hearts back through golden apples, potions, or resting near a campfire. PvP deaths cost a heart, while war battles have no penalties.

Exploration is meant to be navigated, not solved. With coordinates disabled and no teleports, you’ll rely on compasses, maps, and planning. Town and nation borders are visible on in-game maps, and you can stitch maps together to chart the continent.

The endgame is political. Slay the Ender Dragon to earn a crown and unlock nations. Nations are governed through signed books placed in custom lecterns, with actions recorded into history. Town claims expand organically with the terrain, growing block by block at different speeds depending on the landscape.

War is declared by writing a book and physically delivering it to your enemy’s diplomacy lectern, so couriers can be intercepted on the road. Wars are fought as best-of-three arena battles near the defender’s capital, and allied nations can join.

PvP is enabled anywhere, but random killing has consequences. Your alignment drops when you kill innocents; fall far enough and you’re branded a bandit, locked out of nations, and free to be hunted.

Infrastructure is a major part of the world. Build functional, physics-based trains by linking minecarts, and move people and cargo on chunk-loading rail lines even when you’re offline. Connect towns with speed-boosting paths and build long-distance signaling for real transport networks.

You begin stranded near a ruined settlement on a vast continent. From there, your story is up to you: build a nation, map the wilderness, create a railway company, or live as a feared bandit.
