The NearVanilla Server
Near Vanilla is a semi-vanilla SMP for a mature 18+ community that’s been playing together for years. We focus on a friendly, close-knit environment where you can build, collect, explore, and enjoy survival the way it’s meant to be played.
We’re an international, community-driven server with constant conversation and regular feedback from players. Bigger changes are shaped through community discussion, and suggestions are always welcome.
Whether you prefer to play independently or collaborate, you’ll find your place through cooperative builds, a vibrant shopping district, player competitions, and other events. We also run a Dynmap so you can navigate the world and see what’s happening around you.
We enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy for hacking, glitching, and duping, as well as griefing, stealing, bullying, insults, discrimination, prejudice, and toxic behavior. Staff actively moderates to keep the server respectful and stress-free. The server is currently in Season 7 on Hard difficulty, which began August 24, 2024. Due to some of our chat plug-ins, Mojang chat reporting is disabled and chat is moderated by staff.
A few of the small quality-of-life touches that make us Near Vanilla include Deathlog to help you find where you died, and WanderfulAdditions for extra armour stand control and item display options.

Copy the server address below, open Minecraft, then add it in your server list.
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to the servers or multiplayer screen.
- Add a server or use an option like Direct Connection or Add External Server.

- Save or confirm, then join the server.
